UAkronPark’s new vPermit parking portal is LIVE!
We are excited to introduce this new platform as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the parking experience for the University of Akron community. The new system offers a more user-friendly interface and streamlined account management. Our goal is to make managing your parking account faster, simpler, and more convenient.
Please review the important action items below to ensure your account is accurate.
Action Items
- Annual Faculty/Staff Permit Holders → Log in to your account and confirm the appropriate permit is active.
- Summer Semester Permit Holders → Log in to your account and confirm the appropriate permit is active.
- All Spring Semester Permit Holders → If you will be parking over the summer, log in and purchase your summer permit as soon as possible.
- All Permit Holders → Review your account information and verify that all vehicles associated with your permit and account are accurate.
- Note: only vehicles linked to an active permit in the previous platform were transferred into the new system.
- Credit Card Payment Plan Permits (excluding payroll deduction) → Register for an account, add your credit card information, and activate your payment plan permit as soon as possible.
- Note: For security reasons, credit card information could not be transferred to the new portal. To avoid any interruption, you must enter payment information and activate your permit in the new system.
- Vendor Permits → Vendor permit purchases require approval from a UAkronPark team member before your credit card is charged and the permit becomes active.
- If possible, please register your account using a company email address.
- Action Required for Existing Vendors: If you held an annual vendor payment plan permit in the previous system, please log into the new portal to enter your payment details and activate your permit as soon as possible.
- Note: For security reasons, credit card information could not be transferred to the new portal. To avoid any interruption, you must enter payment information and activate your permit in the new system.
- Vendor Contact Requirement: To approve permit requests, we need a designated point of contact for each on-campus vendor who can verify employment. We ask that each vendor reach out to us to appoint their primary contact.
- Vehicle Limits → You may register up to three license plates on your account. However, the number of license plates allowed on a permit at one time depends on your permit type.
All temporary accommodations made through our customer service team during the transition have now expired. To ensure all users have ample time to purchase summer permits and verify their account details, UAkronPark will temporarily pause permit enforcement until Monday, June 1st.
Accessing Your Account
Those with a UANet ID: Log into your account via the “UANet ID Login” button on the log in screen.
Annual Permit Holders without a UANet ID: If you had an active annual permit in iParq that is not on a credit card payment plan, but you do not have UANet credentials, please go to the log in screen and click “reset password” to access your account.
New Users & Spring Semester Permit Holders without a UANet ID: You must register for an account. Once registered, you will be able to purchase your permit.
