VISITOR PARKING
We welcome thousands of visitors to our beautiful campus every year.
Before you visit campus, please review your parking options and select the one that best suits your needs. If you are not sure, give us a call at 330-972-7213 or send us an email at info@uakronpark.com with any questions and we are happy to help! We encourage you to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and X for more updates.
All vehicles parked on campus must have a valid parking permit or an open ParkMobile session from our QR codes posted in every parking lot and deck.
Getting to campus
Prospective students and Office of Admissions visitors
Visit the Office of Admissions Website to plan a visit and request Special Admissions parking.
UAkronPark Office

Anyone visiting the UAkronPark Office is advised to park in the gated visitor parking garage on Buchtel Avenue (directly across from the UAkronPark office/North Campus Parking Deck). You will scan one of the QR codes conveniently posted around the lot and must pay for parking viaParkMobile. If the visitor lot is full, then legal parking may be found in an alternative ParkMobile-equipped lot.
Unfortunately, UAkronPark can not reimburse you for ParkMobile transactions.
Parking options for visitors
Hourly and One-day pass | Hourly and daily parking is available for purchase via ParkMobile. One-day permits are also available via vPermit. These passes allow you to park in any lot or deck.
Gated visitor lot | You can park in our gated visitor parking garage located on 248 E. Buchtel Ave. under the Robertson Dining Hall and across the street from the UAkronPark Office. You will scan one of the QR codes conveniently posted around the lot and must pay for parking via ParkMobile. The rate is $2.50/hr + transaction fee.
